It means to be in union and so complete
A bond from heaven that is a gift bound in love
We are told that it is to be as one flesh
And that it shall endure all storms if on love is fed
Let one and all observe these two and be in awe
Never let one decry what we see in these two
For it is freedom and a lifting up upon wings
A soaring above the sky and a long drink in the oasis
Joy itself pales in comparison to the ecstacy of their hearts
And time itself will stand still on that day
For love is what is in action here and now
It is the finest perl and one without compare
A long-sought treasure that shines so bright
The chords of their hearts entwine and bind
Cords that tie them are three and strong
That the harmony of their song may be lasting
Let this union of man and women be of Jah's hand
And let it be before all a joy and ecstacy
